About Me

Hello! I'm the Co-Founder and CTO of PlayMaker, a platform that supports the work of sponsorship professionals and brings sponsorship management workflows into the future. Before that, I spent over six years at LinkedIn as a full-stack engineer. Ask me about sports sponsorship, Content Management Systems, Ads Rendering, and building with AI.

PlayMaker

I built PlayMaker from scratch: a robust frontend UI in React, backed by a backend written in Python. After speaking with over 200 people across brands, teams, leagues, and agencies, my co-founder and I built a sponsorship platform that meets the needs of sports sponsorship professionals and brings the AI revolution to the world of partnerships — from spend tracking and asset delivery to a conversational AI data scientist that can answer any question about your partnership data. PlayMaker is backed by Antler and works with customers across the sports industry, from professional teams to international multi-club groups.

Professional Journey

Before PlayMaker, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Slang.ai, building data pipelines that help restaurants better understand their customers. Prior to that, since graduating from Harvard College in 2017, I was deeply immersed in two pivotal roles at LinkedIn:

Innovator in the Marketing Team: My journey began with the creation of a Content Management System from scratch. This system, built with Java in the Play framework, empowered non-technical marketing professionals to craft landing pages effortlessly. The choice of Apache Jackrabbit Oak on MySQL mirrors the hierarchical nature of DOM information. It's the same db paradigm that underlies Adobe's 'Experience Manager' product (AEM).

Pioneer in the Ads Rendering Team: Transitioning to the ads rendering team, I took charge of refining the data flow, from database management to auction, and eventually to the user interface, built in Ember. My role was instrumental in streamlining processes and enhancing user experience on the platform.

Education

My academic experience at Harvard laid a strong foundation in software engineering, instilling in me a lifelong love for learning and technological innovation.

Working with AI

At PlayMaker I've shipped AI that does real work: ingesting plain-language legal contracts and connecting them to live inventory, and a conversational AI data scientist that answers plain-English questions about partnership data — with citations, not hallucinations. I'm equally opinionated about how to build with AI: humans decide the play and the AI runs it, with a human in the loop for complex work. And when reliability matters, I ask the AI to write the code that does the work, because code will run the same way every single time.

My Ethos

At the core of my professional philosophy is a commitment to using technology to demystify complexities and enhance user experience. This includes a strong focus on web accessibility, ensuring that digital platforms are inclusive and accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities. I am dedicated to creating solutions that are not only efficient and user-centric but also universally accessible, reflecting my belief in the power of technology to create an inclusive world.

As I continue on my professional path, I am excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead, especially in areas where technology intersects with real-world challenges.
